When Chuck Bartowski gets kicked out of Stanford and stuck in a dead end job as a computer nerd for the Buy More he is accidentally sees an email full of government secrets sent to him by an old college buddy forcing Chuck into a world of spies, danger, and frenzy. Chuck is a comedy about a nerd who lives with his sister Ellie and works at the Buy-More. He also one day receives an email that contains top-secret government secrets when a secret agent desperately sends it to him at a dire time. Now whenever Chuck sees something that triggers the top-secret information, he suddenly "flashes" and basically the file of the thing he triggered is opened for him in his mind. Sounds confusing, but it's not. To protect him, and the secrets that were exposed to him, two government agents, Casey and Sarah are sent to him. He falls in love with Sarah comically, and as a cover she begins to "date" him. Casey shows nearly no emotions and seems cold-blooded to Chuck, making him the perfect secret agent. Chuck, on the other hand, manages to find trouble more than not. If you're looking for relief on Monday night why not watch Chuck at 8 o' clock? I thought this show was everything you would want in a satire on the CIA verse NSA…FBI.. etc… I thought the casting was real and believable. Chuck's close network of Friends all with very unique attributes provides the show with multiple avenues for interesting plot points. The cast is what rockets this show to the max. Chuck (Zachary Levi) looks like he could be the real life brother to (Sarah Lancaster ) , good casting choice! Also his buddy, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) is the quintessential side kick with depth, again, Great Casting here. The interdepartmental rivalry between Yvonne Strahovski (Sarah) and Adam Baldwin (John) is most comical, as is their personal interrelationship with the rest of the cast. As for the rest of the team, absolutely perfect, to match personalities and actors so well does not happen often enough, remember how well M*A*S*H cast it's team! (perfect!) Very much looking forward to more of this Geek Bond and his close group of "Q"..like Friends . Lets see where the writing takes us and of course the talent of the entire team, job well done!
